I've always enjoyed taking wellness shots for an extra boost, and these magical Citrus Ginger Turmeric Wellness Shots are packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties! They also help aid in digestion as well as support a healthy immune system.
1/4tsppink Himalayan salt(you can omit but it adds essential minerals)
Instructions
Carefully cut the lemons and oranges in halves, then cut the peels off.
Slice the ginger and turmeric into pieces.
In a blender, add the lemons, oranges, ginger, turmeric, coconut water, filtered water, honey, and salt.
Blend on high for at least 2 minutes or until there are no chunks.
Use a fine strainer and pour the juice mixture into a pitcher or large container. You will need to pour the mixture in parts so you can use a large spoon to press as much juice through leaving the pulp.(You can also use a nut milk bag but it will stain the bag and your hands because of the turmeric.)
Once the juice has been strained of the pulp, store in a glass jug in the fridge or pour into 12 small 2 oz jars.
Enjoy within 2 weeks of making.
Notes
If you have a juicer, you can just use that instead of putting the ingredients in a blender and straining.
