Creamy Vanilla Cashew Milk

This CREAMY and DELICIOUS Vanilla Cashew Milk will become your new fridge staple! I would always buy my nut milks from the store, and don't get me wrong, there are some great brands out there, but it can get really expensive especially when you go through them as fast as I do. Save money and reduce your plastic use by making my recipe! It's seriously so creamy and works great in smoothies and drinks. It even froths up very well for your morning lattes

  • 1 High-powered blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
  • Pinch of salt(optional)

Instructions
 

  • Soak the cashews and pitted dates in a bowl with hot water. Let them soak for at least 2 hours, then drain.
  • Add the cashews and dates to a high power blender along with the filtered water and vanilla bean paste.
  • Blend on medium for a few seconds, then turn the powder to high and blend for 2 minutes.
  • Pour into a glass jug and store in the fridge. Enjoy the vanilla cashew milk within 1 week of making.

Notes

You can double this recipe if you have a lot of people in your family that drink a lot of milk!
