No Bake Sea Salt Protein Brownies
colorfulsuperfoodie
I'm all about snacks and desserts that are balanced as well as delicious! My new obsession is definitely this No Bake Sea Salt Protein Brownie recipe! They have such a soft and gooey texture, and have the perfect sweet-salty balance! These brownies are more blood sugar friendly because they are full of fiber, protein, and healthy fats! They are also refined sugar free and are only sweetened with a little coconut sugar. Trust me, you'll definitely be glad you made these to enjoy throughout the busy week!

Add your dates to a bowl and pour over some hot water to cover the dates. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes then drain the water and pat down the access water with a towel.
Add the almond flour, protein powder, cacao powder, almond butter, dates, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract to a food processor and process until a dough like consistency forms.
Add the mixture to a bowl and then mix in the 2/3 cup chocolate chips.
Press brownie mixture into an 8×8 baking dish lined with parchment paper or a silicone mold one.
Place brownie mixture in the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours.
Take the dish out of the fridge and carefully cut the brownie into 9 regular size brownies or 16 smaller brownies.
Melt the remaining 1/3 cup chocolate chips with a little coconut oil. Drizzle the chocolate over the brownies and sprinkle some sea salt.
