Healthier Pumpkin Spice Latte
colorfulsuperfoodie
There's nothing wrong with being that person who loves drinking their Pumpkin Spice Latte while wearing the cozy cute fall clothes and boots! I am definitely one of those girls and proud of it because my latte recipe is a lot healthier than what you would buy in a coffee shop. This recipe contain healthy fats, and collagen peptides to support well being and sustained energy. This recipe is also a lot lower in sugar than your typical latte so no afternoon sugar crash!

Cuisine American

- 2 scoops collagen peptides
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
- 2 cups almond or coconut milk
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup or some monk fruit to sweeten
Add your coffee of choice to your coffee maker and start brewing.
While the coffee is brewing, warm up your nut milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and vanilla extract in a small sauce pan over medium heat.
Stir it often to keep the milk from burning. Take the pan off the stove when it starts to bubble slightly.
In 2 mugs, and a scoop of collagen peptides and divide your coffee evenly between them. Use a hand frother to mix in the collagen.
Using a milk frother, froth up the pumpkin spice creamer and pour evenly between the 2 mugs.
