Orange Creamsicle Sorbet

colorfulsuperfoodie
Say hello to your new favorite dessert this summer! This sorbet only requires 3 simple ingredients and a blender or food processor, so it could not be easier. I love making my own sorbets at home that way there is no processed sugar or other unnecessary ingredients. This orange creamsicle sorbet is so refreshing on a hot summer day.

Equipment

  • 1 food processor or blender

Ingredients

  • 3 large oranges (Cara Cara is my favorite)
  • 1 cup full fat coconut cream (room temp)

  • Peal the oranges and divide out all the slices. Cut the slices in halves and then place on a parchment paper lined sheet pan.
  • Place the orange slices in the freezer for 1 hour.
  • Take the orange slices out of the freezer and then add them to a food processor or blender.
  • Add in the coconut cream and maple syrup, then blend on high for 2-3 minutes or until a creamy consistency forms.
  • Scoop out some of the sorbet and add to a bowl and enjoy!
