Orange Creamsicle Sorbet

Say hello to your new favorite dessert this summer! This sorbet only requires 3 simple ingredients and a blender or food processor, so it could not be easier. I love making my own sorbets at home that way there is no processed sugar or other unnecessary ingredients. This orange creamsicle sorbet is so refreshing on a hot summer day.

What you will need

Oranges – You can use any type of orange but my personal favorite to use is Cara Cara. Oranges are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. They are also an excellent source of fiber!

Coconut Cream – Make sure to use the full fat coconut cream in the can. Make sure it is at room temperature when you blend it otherwise it will be chunky.

Maple Syrup – I like to add a touch of maple syrup to sweeten the orange sorbet.

How to make the orange creamsicle sorbet

First, peal the oranges and divide out all the slices. Cut the slices in halves and then place on a patch paper lined sheet pan. Then place the orange slices in the freezer for 2 hours. Next, take the orange slices out of the freezer and then add them to a food processor or blender. Add in the coconut cream and maple syrup, then blend on high for 2-3 minutes or until a creamy consistency forms. Lastly, scoop out some of the sorbet and add to a bowl and enjoy!
