Blueberry Lime Mint Mocktail
Since the warm weather is here to stay for a while, I have been craving all the refreshing drinks like this Blueberry Lime Mint Mocktail! This drink is perfect for when you need something to quench your thirst, but also to support gut health ! It’s low in sugar and contains many antioxidants from the blueberries and limes. You can whip up this mocktail in 5 minutes or less too!

What you will need
Blueberries – These berries are known to be a powerhouse when it comes to antioxidants. They are rich in anthocyanins which support immune health and help to neutralize free radical damage in the body. You can read more about the benefits of blueberries here.
Limes – Adding some fresh squeezed lime juice is definitely recommended. Limes are a great source of vitamin C and antioxidants. They provide immune support and help modulate inflammation.
Lime Kombucha or Sparkling Water – I love making mocktails with kombucha because of the gut supporting benefits! I used the Health Aid brand Lime Mint Kombucha which worked so well. If you can’t handle kombucha, I suggest using a sparkling water or prebiotic low sugar soda like this Olipop one.
Mint Leaves – These make a pretty garnish in the mocktail as well as add a nice mint essence.
Stevia or Monk Fruit – This is optional but if you like your drinks on the sweeter side, then go for it!
Ice Cubes – I like to use some smaller size ice cubes. For a fun spin, try freezing some blueberry juice into ice cubes!

How to make the blueberry lime mint mocktail
First, add the blueberries and a few mint leaves to the bottom of a mixing glass and mash them up using a muddler or spoon to release the juices.(If you use thawed frozen blueberries you will get more juice!) Add the lime juice and lime kombucha or sparkling water, and a few drops a sweetener and stir everything around.
Add some ice to a serving glass and carefully pour the mocktail mixture into the glass. Garnish with a lime slice and enjoy! (Multiply this recipe by how may people you are serving.)
