Earth Day Cloud Smoothie
I don’t know about you, but I am totally obsessed with the cloud smoothie trend! Probably because they look so beautiful and are satisfying to enjoy. In honor of Earth Day, I decided to celebrate by making this Earth Day Cloud Smoothie! It gets it’s gorgeous blue color naturally from blue spirulina. The pretty green accents on the sides of the glass are made with coconut yogurt mixed with matcha. This smoothie is high in protein, healthy fats, and antioxidants. Grab your blender and let’s have some fun!

What you will need
Frozen Banana Slices – This makes a great base for the smoothie which won’t affect the color.
Frozen Cauliflower Rice – Adding frozen cauliflower to your smoothie is a game changer and a great way to sneak in some veggies!(Your kids wont even tell) Cauliflower is rich in anti-inflammatory properties, is a great source of fiber, and supports detoxification.
Coconut Milk – This is what I like to use for my smoothies but you can use any dairy free alternative milk.
Vanilla Protein Powder – I like to use a plant based protein powder or bone broth protein. You can use your favorite protein powder though!
Blue Spirulina Powder – This is what makes this smoothie so beautiful and vibrant. There’s no artificial coloring which is so amazing! Spirulina is another great superfood to incorporate into your diet.
Matcha Powder – This powder is packed wiht antioxidants and supports healthy skin, detoxification, and liver health. It provides such a beautiful green color as well!
Dairy Free Vanilla or Plain Yogurt – My favorite yogurt to use is Cocojune or Culina.

How to make the Earth day cloud smoothie
First, Add the banana, cauli-rice, protein powder, blue spirulina, and coconut milk to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Tip: Start blending at a low speed then blend on high to get the smoothie extra fluffy.
Next, make the green yogurt by adding 1/4 cup of the yogurt with the matcha powder to a bowl. Whisk the yogurt well until there are no clumps of matcha. You can add a little sweetener to the matcha yogurt if you used an unsweetened kind.
Choose a serving glass and use a spoon to spread 1/4 of yogurt that is plain, making clouds around the glass. Do the same with the matcha yogurt to make the earth looking parts. Also be sure to sprinkle a little more blue spirulina for some color pop.(It looks so pretty!)
Pour the smoothie in the glass and enjoy!
