Honey Whipped Ricotta with Peaches

If you’ve never blended ricotta with honey before, you are definitely missing out! I love the sweet and tangy flavor and how smooth and creamy it is. Pairing the honey whipped ricotta with fresh juicy peaches and some gluten free toast makes for a fabulous combo! This honey whipped ricotta with peaches makes for a fun appetizer or a fun breakfast side.

What you will need

Ricotta Cheese – I love using the DF almond based ricotta by the brand Kite Hill. You can use a dairy based ricotta as well if you prefer.

Honey – The sweetness from the honey pairs so well with the tangy flavor of the ricotta cheese. There really isn’t a good substitute for honey so I don’t recommend using any other type of sweetener.

Peaches – I just love the flavor of fresh ripe juicy peaches and they pair so well with the honey whipped ricotta. You can use other fruits as well like apples, strawberries or blueberries.

GF Bread – I really enjoy making a toast crostini style by topping the toast with the honey whipped ricotta and adding peaches on top. You could also use crackers as well for serving.

Herbs – Adding some fresh herbs chopped up such as parsley or basil adds another level of flavor. I love the sweet and savory combo!
