Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Latte

Who needs a coffee shop when you can be a barista at home! Trust me it’s not as hard as it sounds! This pumpkin spice cold foam latte is the perfect fall drink for when it’s still a bit warm outside. It’s made with healthy ingredients that support your well being instead of cause a sugar crash later on. It consists of a delicious dairy free pumpkin spice creamer that is simple and easy to make!

What you will need for this recipe

Cold Brew Coffee – Something that is nice about cold brew is that it is less acidic than regular hot brewed coffee. Cold brew may be a better option for those who love coffee but have a sensitive stomach. I always opt for an organic brand such as Chameleon.

Almond Milk – It can be hard to find a dairy free milk alternative that froths up really well. I have found that using full fat coconut works best and gets very frothed up compared to more diluted coconut milks. If you prefer almond milk, I love using the Three Trees unsweetened vanilla almond milk!

Coconut Milk – We will use full fat coconut milk to make the creamiest dairy free creamer.

Pumpkin Puree – Adding some actual pumpkin to the creamer gives it a heightened flavor!

Pumpkin Spice – I like to add some in the creamer to froth as well as sprinkle some on top.

Maple syrup – I love the taste of maple with the warming fall spices, but you can use honey, monk fruit, or stevia to sweeten instead.

Vanilla Extract – Adding real vanilla extract gives the latte a little more of a sweet note which I love!

What kind of milk frother should I use?

I currently use the Instant Pot Instant Milk Frother which works amazing! You can also froth up the creamer in a glass using a simple hand frother.

How to make the Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Latte

  1. Make the pumpkin spice creamer by adding the coconut milk, almond milk, pumpkin, maple syrup, pumpkin spice, and vanilla extract into a mason jar. Use a whisk or hand frother to ix it all together.
  2. Add some cold brew coffee into a glass with ice.
  3. In a frother machine or using a hand frother, whip up 1/2 cup of the pumpkin spice creamer.
  4. Pour the cold foam creamer over the cold brew. Stir up and enjoy!
