Honey Buffalo Wings(Air Fried)

Who doesn’t love enjoying some fresh crisp chicken wings! These air fried Honey Buffalo Wings are so satisfying, and full of fun flavor! The are perfectly crisp and are coated in a simple creamy buffalo sauce that has a balance of sweet and spicy! I can eat these on repeat, and they are something your whole family can enjoy!

What you will need

Chicken Wings – I always opt for organic chicken wings to avoid added hormones and GMO fed products. Mary’s is a great brand the is humanly raised!

Buffalo Sauce – My favorite brand to use is the noble Made Mild buffalo Sauce by the brand The New Primal. (You can use my code CSF15 to get 15% off.)

Honey – I like to use a raw local honey! did you know that honey contains antimicrobial properties and can help lessen seasonal allergies?

Plain Dairy Free Yogurt – I like to use a cashew based yogurt by the brand Forager Project.

Avocado Oil – This is a healthier cooking oil alternative that works great for high heat temps!

Himalayan Salt – I like adding a touch of salt to these wings to bring out more flavor!

How to make the Honey Buffalo Wings

First, Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees. In a bowl, add the wings, avocado oil, and a little Himalayan salt. Coat the wings evenly. When the air fryer is ready, place the wings in the air fryer basket and cook for about 20 mins. Stir them around halfway through.

Then, While the wings are cooking, make your honey buffalo sauce by mixing together the yogurt, honey, and buffalo sauce. When the wings are done cooking, place them in a bowl and coat evenly with the honey buffalo sauce.

Place the wings back in the air fryer for 3-5 mins or until the sauce has caramelized on the wings. Let the wings cool for a few minutes and enjoy them served with carrot and celery sticks or with homemade fries!

Can I make them in the oven?

If you do not have an air fryer, you can still make these wings in the oven! For cooking in the oven, heat to 425 degrees and cook the wings for 30-35 mins flipping them halfway through. After that, coat the wings in the sauce and cook for another 5-7 mins!
