Protein Peanut Butter Oat Bites
I definitely have a major sweet tooth and have to have some batch of goodies on hand during the week! I prefer to make my own treat using healthier ingredients that are more nutritious but don’t compromise on flavor. These Protein Peanut Butter Oat Bites are so EASY to make and only require 5 ingredients. You can make a batch to enjoy throughout the week or freeze them for later and pop them in the fridge when you feel like it!

I am definitely one of those people that has to have her snacks, but I don’t wan to buy most of the stuff on the shelf at the store because they are usually heavily processed with lots of ingredients! Making your own bliss balls or any type of no bake treat is the way to go because they are so quick and easy to whip up. I wanted to create a snack that has more fiber and protein so I thought these protein peanut butter oat bites would hit the spot!
Why you will love this recipe
- They take less than 30 minutes to make and only require 5 ingredients.
- They are gluten, dairy, and refined sugar free which makes them pretty friendly to a lot of dietary needs.(If you can’t have peanut butter, swap it with almond or sun butter!)
- They are a great snack to make for on the go or when you need a pre workout treat to fuel your body.
- This recipe makes a huge batch which is great for prepping ahead of the busy week.

What you will need
Peanut Butter – You will want to make sure you use a really smooth drippy peanut butter! (If you can’t eat peanuts, you can substitute with almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter.)
Vanilla Protein Powder – I love to use the plant based protein powder by Truvani but you can use your favorite protein powder as well.
Oats – I use organic gluten free sprouted rolled oats on this recipe! I highly recommend getting oats that are organic to avoid exposure to the pesticide glyphosate which is primarily sprayed on oats. Getting sprouted oats also will help with digestion and absorption of nutrients.
Maple syrup – This is what I use to sweeten these bites with but you can use honey as well!
Chocolate Covered Peanuts Candies – I love the brand Unreal because they are colored without any artificial dyes and are dairy free! You can always use chocolate chips instead too which would be super delicious.

How to make the protein peanut butter oat bites
