What you will need
Cashew Butter – I love using raw cashew butter in my no bake recipes because it has such a creamy texture and it is naturally sweet. You can also use raw almond butter or even granola butter.
Almond Flour – This is a great gluten free low carb alternative flour. It is higher in fiber and protein than most flours as well. You could substitute with tapioca or cassava flour if you can eat almonds.
Coconut Flour – THis helps to absorb some of the oils from the nut butter.
Vanilla Protein Powder – I love to add extra protein to my treats because they are more blood sugar balanced and satiating. One of my favorite protein powders is Truvani because it is made with 6 simple clean ingredients.
Coconut Oil – This makes the bliss balls solidify more when chilled.
Maple Syrup – This is what I like to use to sweeten these bliss balls. You could also use powdered monk fruit as well for a low sugar option.
Vanilla Extract – You can’t have birthday cake without vanilla!
Rainbow Sprinkles – I think sprinkles are definitely mandatory when it comes to any birthday cake treat! I use ones that are natural and contain no artificial dyes!

How to make the birthday cake bliss balls
First, add the nut butter, almond flour, coconut flour, protein, powder, coconut oil, maple syrup, sprinkles, and vanilla extract to a bowl. Mix together well until a cake batter forms.(If too sticky add more almond flour).
Next, roll the birthday cake batter into about balls(if the mixture is too soft to roll, place in the fridge for a few minutes to firm up). Add more rainbow sprinkles to a bowl and roll each birthday cake ball in the sprinkles.
Store in the fridge. Enjoy as a fun treat during the week or share with others for a fun celebration!
