Pineapple – The star of the show! Sweet, juicy pineapple gives this Dole Whip its signature tropical flavor and refreshing fruity taste. Fresh or canned pineapple both work beautifully.
Full-Fat Coconut Milk – This adds rich, creamy texture and a subtle tropical flavor. Be sure to use full-fat coconut milk for the creamiest, smoothest Dole Whip.
Honey – A touch of honey adds natural sweetness and balances the tangy pineapple. You can easily adjust the amount depending on how sweet your pineapple is.(You can also use maple syrup)

How to make the Pineapple Dole Whip
- Blend the ingredients. Add 4 cups pineapple, 1 can full-fat coconut milk, and ⅓ cup honey to a high-speed blender. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Fill the Ninja Creami pints. Divide the pineapple mixture evenly between 2 Ninja Creami-compatible pint containers. Do not fill past the maximum fill line.
- Freeze. Place the pint containers in the freezer on a level surface and freeze for at least 24 hours, or until completely solid.
- Process in the Ninja Creami. Remove one frozen pint from the freezer and take off the lid. Place the pint into the Ninja Creami outer bowl, secure the paddle, and lock it into the machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Select the Sorbet or Lite Ice Cream setting and process until creamy.
- Re-spin if needed. If the Dole Whip looks crumbly after the first cycle, select Re-Spin and process again until smooth and creamy. If needed, add a small splash of coconut milk before re-spinning for an extra-creamy texture.
- Serve. Scoop or spoon the creamy pineapple Dole Whip into bowls and enjoy immediately for the best soft-serve texture. Repeat with the second pint whenever you’re ready for another tropical treat!
What if I don’t have a Ninja Creami?
No Ninja Creami? No problem! You can still make this delicious pineapple Dole Whip using a blender. After blending the pineapple, coconut milk, and honey until smooth, pour the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze until completely solid. Once frozen, add the pineapple cubes to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to let the cubes sit for a few minutes or add a small splash of coconut milk to help everything blend. Serve immediately for the best soft-serve texture!
