Strawberry Matcha Yogurt Bark
Yogurt bark is definitely a classic treat to enjoy during the hot summer months. I have made a few recipes and this strawberry matcha yogurt bark is so much fun! It’s packed with antioxidants, is high in protein, and contains healthy fats, which will help you feel more satiated! This yogurt bark is a nice freezer treat to have on hand during the summer and is so easy to make.

What you will need
DF Yogurt – I like to use a plain unsweetened yogurt because so many yogurts have a lot of added sugar. I prefer to sweeten my yogurt to my liking and use honey or maple syrup. I love to use the Culina brand Greek style yogurt.
Matcha Powder – Not all matcha is created equal and you want to look for matcha that is premium grade. Premium grade matcha is a bright vivid green color while lower quality matchas will have more of a yellow brown tone. My favorite brand to use is Matcha Nude. Strawberries – This berry is packed with antioxidants and vitamins such as vitamin C which supports a healthy immune function. We will cut strawberries into round slices for a pretty look.
Cashew Butter – blending some raw cashew butter with the yogurt makes the texture more creamy and less icy. You can also substitute cashew butter with almond butter(preferably raw and unsalted.)
Protein Powder – I love using the plant based protein powder by the brand Truvani because it’s made with very few simple clean ingredients!
Honey – This is my sweetener of choice for this recipe because honey and matcha pair really well.
DF White Chocolate – I love the flavor combination of matcha and white chocolate and we will be drizzling some white chocolate in the yogurt. My favorite dairy and refined sugar free bar is by the brand Evolved.
Coconut Oil – We will use a little coconut oil to melt with the white chocolate to thin it out.
Blue Spirulina Powder – This is optional but I love mixing some with the white chocolate to give it a beautiful blue color!
Hemp Hearts – This adds a fin texture to the yogurt bark and also provides more protein and essential omega 3 fatty acids.
