Honey Vanilla Peach Ice Cream

There’s something magical about a ripe summer peach—sweet, juicy, fragrant, and practically begging to be turned into dessert. This Honey Vanilla Peach Ice Cream does exactly that, blending luscious peaches with golden honey and a touch of vanilla for a creamy, dreamy treat that tastes like summer in every spoonful.

I LOVE peach ice cream and making your own at home is definitely a must! All you need are a few simple ingredients you probably already have in the kitchen. The peaches, honey, and vanilla come together to make the creamiest, dreamiest ice cream, and because it’s dairy-free, it’s a treat everyone can enjoy. Honestly, once you try making homemade peach ice cream this way, you might never want to buy the store-bought stuff again! I make this ice cream in my Ninja Creami but you can use any ice cream maker as well.

Why you will love this recipe

  • So creamy and delicious – The Ninja CREAMi works its magic to turn simple ingredients into a smooth, scoopable treat.
  • Perfect for peach season – It’s a delicious way to use those fresh, ripe peaches sitting on your counter.
  • You can customize it – Add extra peach chunks, a little cinnamon, or your favorite dairy-free mix-ins to make it your own.
  • Naturally sweetened with honey – Honey adds just the right amount of sweetness while complementing the peaches.
  • It’s completely dairy-free – You still get that rich, creamy ice cream texture without the dairy.

Ingredients you will need

Peaches – Fresh, ripe peaches are the star of this ice cream! Look for peaches that are fragrant, juicy, and perfectly ripe for the sweetest peach flavor. You can use yellow or white peaches, depending on what you have on hand.

Honey – Honey adds a lovely natural sweetness and pairs beautifully with the fresh peach flavor. It also brings a subtle floral note that makes this ice cream taste extra special.

Coconut Cream – A little coconut cream makes this ice cream extra luscious and creamy. It adds richness without overpowering the peach and vanilla flavors. You will want to make sure to use the full fat coconut cream from the can(not the liquid part).

Vanilla Bean Paste – Vanilla bean paste adds a beautiful vanilla flavor and those gorgeous little flecks of vanilla bean throughout the ice cream. It’s the perfect finishing touch alongside the sweet peaches and honey.

Coconut Milk – Coconut milk gives the ice cream a creamy, silky base while keeping the recipe completely dairy-free. I recommend using full-fat coconut milk for the best texture and richness.

Xanthan Gum – Don’t let this ingredient intimidate you! You only need a tiny amount of xanthan gum to help give the ice cream a smooth, creamy texture and prevent it from becoming too icy after freezing.

Vanilla Bean Honey – Trust me when I say you haven’t lived until you’ve tried vanilla bean infused honey! It is the perfect topping for this peach ice cream. I get one from a local Colorado company but there might be other brands that make it too.

How to make the peach ice cream

  1. Blend the ingredients – Add all of the ingredients, except for the vanilla bean honey, to a blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  2. Fill the pint containers – Divide the ice cream mixture evenly between two Ninja CREAMi-compatible pint containers.
  3. Freeze overnight – Place the pint containers in the freezer and freeze for at least 24 hours. This step is required for the Ninja Creami to work properly.
  4. Process the ice cream – Remove a pint from the freezer and place it into the Ninja Creami. Secure it according to the manufacturer’s instructions, then select the Ice Cream function and let the cycle run.
  5. Re-spin if needed – If the ice cream looks crumbly after the first cycle, add 2 tablespoons of milk and run the Re-spin function. Repeat if necessary until the ice cream reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.
  6. Serve and enjoy – Scoop the ice cream into a bowl and drizzle with vanilla bean honey. Top with fresh peach slices, grab a spoon, and dig in!

What if I don’t have a Ninja Creami?

If you don’t have a Ninja Creami, you can make this peach ice cream in a traditional ice cream maker. Simply blend all of the ingredients, except for the vanilla bean honey, until smooth and creamy. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for a few hours, then pour it into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Once the ice cream has reached a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 2–4 hours, or until firm enough to scoop. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving, then top with vanilla bean honey and fresh peach slices.

No ice cream maker either? Pour the blended mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container and freeze. Stir the mixture every 30–45 minutes for the first few hours to help break up ice crystals and keep the texture creamy. Once completely frozen, let it soften slightly before scooping and serving.
