Strawberry Rose Iced Matcha Latte
This matcha recipe is perfect for springtime and tastes delightful. I love my morning matcha ritual, and this recipe has been a fun way to mix things up! I love when strawberries are in season, and I enjoy making this delicious strawberry rose cold foam to pour over the matcha. It’s high in antioxidants, low in sugar, and full of fun flavors! I highly recommend giving this strawberry rose iced matcha latte a try!

Benefits of Matcha
A great coffee alternative
I am one who is sensitive to caffeine so I usually opt for matcha instead of coffee. Matcha contains the amino acid L-Theanine which promotes a calming affect. My energy definitely feels more stabilized during the day when I drink matcha over coffee!
Rich in antioxidants
Matcha is very high in antioxidants especially EGCG. Antioxidants help protect our bodies against free radical damage and also modulate inflammation.
Contains detoxifying properties
Matcha supports the detoxification process in the body because it contains chlorophyll(natural green pigment in plants.) Chlorophyll may help aid the liver in removing toxins and heavy metals. There are so many toxins in our environment these days so incorporating foods high in antioxidants and greens such as chlorophyll can be very benficial.
