Why you will love this recipe

I don’t know about you, but I am all about the simple to make delicious snack recipes! I got inspired to make this recipe because I kept seeing people on Instagram making the viral chocolate covered blueberry yogurt clusters. My favorite berry is definitely raspberries and I decided to make my own spin on the recipe!

Raspberries and dark chocolate are packed with antioxidants and essential minerals which make them perfect for incorporating in your diet as a healthy snack. Yogurt contains live cultures which support the GOOD bacteria in your gut! I eat yogurt on a regular basis because it does make a huge difference with my gut health.

This recipe can be made dairy free, refined sugar free, or with dairy based yogurt and chocolate. It is really up to you! It can also be made in less than an hour with very little effort! If you have kiddos, they would have so much fun making these clusters with you!

What you will need

Raspberries – This ingredient is definitely key! I prefer to use fresh organic raspberries because they are so soft and juicy.

Chocolate Chips – My favorite brand to use is Hu Kitchen Hu Gems. You can use your favorite brand of chocolate chips as well.

Yogurt – I am obsessed with the yogurt from Cocojune. It is dairy free and contains no gums or fillers which I love!

Raw Cashew Butter – Mixing a little bit of nut butter with the yogurt will make these clusters less icy. You can also use almond butter as well.

Protein Powder – I love to add a little boost of protein to my desserts plus it help to keep you more satisfied.

Coconut Oil – This helps thin out the chocolate when melted so it is easier for coating the clusters! Coconut oil is also a great healthy fat and makes these treats more satisfying.

Freeze Dried Raspberries – This is optional, but I highly recommend.

How to make the chocolate raspberry yogurt clusters

First, Wash you raspberries and clean them well and be sure to let them dry completely. Mix together the nut butter, protein powder, and yogurt then fold in the raspberries until all the berries are coated completely.

Using a spoon, scoop out some of the berries and yogurt and place onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Form the berries and yogurt into 6-8 clusters then place them in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Next, In a bowl, melt the chocolate and coconut oil together using the microwave or a double boiler. Take the clusters out of the freezer and dip each one in the melted chocolate.
